During the many months of lockdown when there have been no visitors to our area, we have had the beaches to ourselves and have thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the fresh air and appreciating our surroundings.

As well as Bognor Beach we have visited lots of the local villages beaches, again fron Sussez by the Sea:

VILLAGE BEACHES

Beaches in the neighbouring villages of Aldwick, Pagham, Felpham and Middleton are usually less busy and great for a relaxing walk along the tideline and for soaking up the fresh sea air.

Note that some village beach areas are only accessible by walking along the beach itself at low tide, as several private estates adjoin the beach. Please be careful and check the tide times. We suggest the BBC’s Tide Tables website for tide information.

Aldwick Beach

A popular, primarily shingle beach located along the coast to the west of Bognor Regis Pier.

Aldwick Beachside attractions:

  • Marine Park Gardens and West Park can be found nearby, at the west end of the beach
  • discover a good choice of places to eat within a few minutes’ walk
  • stretch your muscles on the unique Flex on the Beach Fitness Trail

We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area and we can’t wait to be able to welcome visitors again once lockdown is finally lifted.
